Do external signers need a Flou account?

No. The recipients of your documents do not need to create an account to sign documents with Flou. Documents are sent via email, allowing recipients to review, adopt a signature, and complete the signing process seamlessly.

Can other people sign my documents in Flou free?

Yes! An unlimited number of invitees can e-sign your Flou documents for free. They’ll never have to create an account or pay anything to sign.

Does the recipient have to pay to sign a document?

No, there is no cost for the recipient to sign a document.

How will I know when a document has been signed?

Flou provides real-time updates throughout the contract process, from uploading and negotiating to signing. Once a document is fully signed, you will receive a notification via email and an update on your Dashboard

What are electronic signatures?

Electronic signatures are a legally recognized substitute for handwritten signatures, used to authenticate contracts and documents online.

Are electronic signatures legally valid?

Yes, Flou’s electronic signatures are legally binding and are compliant with ESIGN and UETA standards. Each signature comes with a certificate that verifies its legitimacy, and all signed PDF files include an encryption key to validate that the document was signed with Flou.

What is included in the electronic signature certificate?

Each electronic signature certificate contains your verified email address, IP address, signatures or initials, the recipient's name, and the exact time and date the signature was executed.

What makes Flou different from an e-signature tool like DocuSign?

Flou does a lot more than just handle e-signing. It also helps you draft agreements, negotiate changes, track deadlines, and find documents in seconds.

I sent a contract, but the other person is having issues logging in and can't sign.

Make sure the email you used to send the invitation is correct. The invitee must use the same email to access the platform. If the email is changed, you will need to send a new invitation.
