In this article, you'll learn how to create your first contract in Flou.

There are three ways to create contracts in Flou:

  1. Our Template: create them from our ever-growing library of templates.

  2. Your Template: create them from a template you’ve created, or uploaded to, Flou.

  3. From Scratch: build them from scratch using Flou's browser-native contract editor.

Let's see the different ways of creating a contract so you can decide the best path for your workflows. Everything starts on your Contract's homepage.

Templates

Using a template as your starting point is probably the quickest and easiest way to approach your contract creation processes.

Click "New > Choose a Template."

Option A: Create from our library of templates

The first and probably the fastest option is to create your first contract based on our own library of templates.

Step 1 – Search for the right template for you

Step 2 – Make sure it fits what you are looking for

Step 3 – Add data fields

Option B: Create from your own template

This option is only available once you have created your own templates.

From Scratch

To create a contract from scratch, click New > Start from scratch. And start typing away!
